Brief description
Peter Stephan obtained his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Since August 2006 Mr. Stephan is Ph.D. research assistant at the Center for Human-Machine-Interaction (ZMMI).
His current research interests include aspects around the field of ubiquitous computing and distributed systems, the development of universal control systems and the human role in intelligent, agile, manufacturing Environments. Furthermore, he is concerned with the further development of the demonstration plant within the technology initiative SmartFactoryKL. In addition, Mr. Stephan is responsible for the EU-FP7 activities of the ZMMI.
